EGUSD SYNERGY STUDENTVUE HOW TO
Instructions on how to register and update information in the system will be included on the activation code handout. Parents will need to register for a ParentVUE account using an activation code and instructions given out at the beginning of the school year by each school site. A parent/guardian will be authorized to activate a ParentVUE account only after the student is enrolled in the district. Access to student information through ParentVUE/StudentVUE is a privilege, not a right. Web Portal and Mobile App – Easy access from anywhere and anytime Access to ParentVUE/StudentVUE is a free service offered to all current students and parents/guardians of district students.Ability to stay connected with teachers – communicate with teachers.Class website access – know what is happening in your children’s classroom(s).Grades and assignments – know if your student is on track academically and know when assignments have been given and are due.Ability to update information – emergency contacts, physician and phone numbers.Big picture information – ability to view attendance, immunization compliance, transcripts, graduation status, and more.Single sign-on – one login for each parent, which will allow access to all students associated with that parent across the district in any grade or school.The new ParentVUE Portal will provide parents with: ParentVUE helps parents/guardians stay informed and connected by providing day-to-day insight into their child's academic experience with access to important information. If you already have a ParentVUE account, you can send a request through ParentVUE to have your contact information updated. In order to meet the high expectations of EGUSD’s 21st century educational mission and comply with increasing demands of external federal and state mandates, a review committee composed of a wide range of stakeholders, determined that EGUSD needed a new state of the art Student Information System. Contact your school for activation verification or visit the EGUSD Synergy page for more information and to download the ParentVUE or StudentVUE apps. Read the below information carefully for additional documents. Summer: Mon Thurs: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm (Closed Week of July 4th) A welcome packet is available in the office. Why a new system? EGUSD’s current student information system was launched in 2003. School Year: Mon, Tue, Thurs & Fri: 8:15am - 1:30 pm (Except Holidays and Minimum Days) Wed: 9:00 am - 1:30 pm.
